When booking a service it is important to know what needs to be done and how much it will cost.1
Available through Austral Honda, the Honda Tailored Service Program provides a Service Price Guide for vehicles up to 5 years or 100,000kms (whichever occurs first) from first date of registration.
The Service Price Guide gives you the certainty of knowing how much you can expect to pay for a particular scheduled service when you visit Austral Honda. Just check here, when you book a service and you’ll pay no more than the price displayed.
Every scheduled service has a basic number of items that require attention. These include but are not limited to engine oil, oil filter, electrics, tyre rotation and important safety checks.
The Base service must be carried out when a particular milestone is reached, by either time or the kilometres driven e.g. 1 month or 1,000km, whichever occurs first.
For further details, please refer to your Owner’s Warranty and Service Manual under the section titled ‘Normal Periodic Maintenance Schedule’.
In addition to the Base scheduled service there may be additional service items that will require attention from time to time, depending upon your driving needs, the age of the vehicle and/or distance travelled. We call these “Adaptive items”.
Adaptive items include but are not limited to replacement of cabin pollen filters, engine air filters and brake fluid.
When you book a scheduled service with Austral Honda the price quoted will only include Base and Adaptive items - if required at the time of service.
Depending upon the condition of your vehicle, additional maintenance items may be necessary during servicing, and these will be quoted separately. For example the vehicle may require wiper blades, light bulbs, brake pads, fuses or new tyres. These maintenance items will be identified as required during your scheduled service and Austral Honda will be in touch to discuss and provide a quote. Any additional costs will require your authorisation before work proceeds.

We provide our technicians with their very own Technician Lunch Room. Fitted out with a plasma television, digital set top box, DVD player and video player. We also have three flat screen televisions all fitted each with their own PlayStation 2, and a small library of games.
Why? Technicians have for a long time been the backbone of every successful dealership and we are recognising that fact. They often work long hard hours and we have chosen to reward them by adding these creature comforts for them to enjoy during their breaks. They also have game afternoons and some of them even come in a little early to enjoy the facility before they start work. Let's face it - a happy worker is a productive worker and these guys deserve to be a little bit spoilt.
